Buying Guide
Know what you’re buying before checkout.
A strong sales site should make the animal easier to evaluate, not pressure the buyer to decide faster.
1. Confirm the exact animal
Use the permanent animal ID, not just the morph name. The ID should carry through photos, checkout and post-purchase communication.
2. Separate genetics from assumptions
Read visual traits, confirmed heterozygous traits and any possible traits exactly as represented. Do not infer an unlisted gene from appearance alone.
3. Ask for current records
Confirm current weight, feeding history, sex, hatch date where available and any recent changes before purchase.
4. Understand delivered cost
Shipping and applicable tax should be visible or estimable before checkout. Read the shipping process →
5. Read the guarantee
Know both buyer and breeder responsibilities before payment.
